STB has rebranded TalentLive, its own educational project, into Media Academy 11 april 2016

STB has rebranded TalentLive, its own educational project. Now, it has received a status of the Media Academy*. Those who have decided to pursue their careers in TV, can develop screenwriting, directing, camerawork and journalistic skills here. Workshops from STB stars will also become a part of TalentLive.


Training of journalists and screenwriters, cameramen, directors and news correspondents include three stages:
– Lectures by the leading experts working on the STB’s in-house projects (Heads of Creative Units, chief directors, screenwriters, chief cameramen, news producers, etc.). During these lectures, the students of the Media Academy will learn everything about the production of a successful TV product at first hand;

– Practice on the sets of the best TV projects in Ukraine (X-Faktor, Tantsiuiut Vsi,Zvazhenі Ta Shchaslyvi, Vse Bude Dobre, MasterShef and others) and fulfillment of creative tasks;

– Final interview, where students defend their creative works and receive final results.

Students can enroll to TalentLive twice a year. According to the results of the final interview, the best students are offered to work on STB TV channel.

Workshops are unique courses from the stars of STB. Already in April, Workshop by Victoria Bessarab, a chief makeup artist of STB, will be launched. Victoria was the first in Ukraine to apply the prosthetic makeup of foam latex for the actors of Vartovi Mrii 3D-show.


Victoria Bessarab Workshop is a professional makeup and hair modeling training course that consists of several stages:
– Basics;
– Further training course;
– Specialized courses (make-up for film and television);
– the highest skill ¬– the only Ukrainian courses of prosthetic makeup.


Also, at Victoria Bessarab Workshop, there is a special course for those who want to master the art of make-up and hairstyle just for themselves. There are morning, afternoon and evening groups. More information is available by phone + 38-067-690-26-10.

TalentLive was launched on November 2, 2011, as a free program of accelerated adaptation for those, who wish to work on TV. The project was a unique opportunity both for experienced professionals, senior students and university graduates, that allowed to complete an internship and get a job on television. According to the data from 2015, TalantLive received about 2,000 applications, 152 people were invited to the qualifying round. 39 people completed training, and 24 of them, as a result of the final interview, joined STB team.
